It will work out. Forever the optimist. In the 70's I bought 7 acres and 100 sows. Lived in a 12' x18' shack long enough for council to allow a caravan. Then in the 80's brought up two babies in an old caravan, 13 years with no drainage or running water or heating . Tough. Now have 40 acres with 3 farm cottages for the children, and my cows. Fortunate to have a good wife. There is hope, good luck to those brave souls starting out on the journey today, it's well worth the struggle.

You would think that. The fact that our local council made us and our 9 month old child (at the time) homeless was never of interest to any judge. It’s always been about upholding the system and having confidence in the planning system and the “harm” we have done to our neighbours. Our first son is now 3 and are still homeless in our caravan… what about the harm to our family and our farm

I am simply astounded at the breathtaking cruelty you, and your young family are suffering due to the collusion of ‘neighbours,’ a local government and the misanthropic inversion once known as the ‘justice system.’ This gleeful, covetous public interference with your private property ranks on par with the experiences of my farming friends in Zimbabwe during Comrade Robert Mugabe’s ‘land redistribution programme.’
Unlike the Zim farm invasions, they haven’t beaten up your family yet or tried to murder your husband, but they have actually invaded your property and from an outside observer’s view of the content of your article, they’re malevolently working on accelerating to the next steps against you.
Communists and their ideological penchant for centralised planning always transition into violence against the individual ( with a special focus on farmers because they have both independence and power) resulting in the wider consequence of man made famine because, in the words of James Lindsay: “Reality always vetoes Lysenkoism.” The truth of Reality exposes how much they’re really lying -and they’re prepared to steal and kill to protect the lie. Rather chillingly, I had a vivid dream last week about famine in England. People were lining up in the dark to receive either just a cup of rice, or just a cup of oats.
Be that as it may, in the immediate future it looks alarmingly like your family is in danger from a number of different sources. To protect yourselves, it may be prudent to get your paperwork in order asap with a view to having the option to leave a disreputable country that deserves neither you, your children, your mutual skills or the fruits of the abundant future that The Good Lord intends for you.
